Casino Withdrawals: How Long They Take and What Limits Apply
The withdrawal process step by step, from request to bank account, with the rules casinos publish
This guide explains the process and the rules that shape it, using the published terms of the casinos our research covers. It does not compare casinos by speed; our fast withdrawal casinos page does that. Every value below comes from a casino’s own pages, with its check date in the sources, and none of it is a measured payout time.
The withdrawal process step by step
Most delays happen before any money moves. Casino terms describe the stages in different words, but the order is consistent: a request is checked against the account’s wagering, held for review, matched to a verified identity, processed by the casino and then handed to a bank, card network, e-wallet or blockchain. A target such as “within 72 hours” usually covers only one of those stages.
1. The request
A withdrawal request is accepted only if the balance is withdrawable. Three rules decide that before the casino looks at anything else: the minimum withdrawal, any unfinished bonus wagering, and a rule many casinos apply to every deposit. Ricky Casino, for example, sets a minimum of €20 and requires each deposit to be wagered 3x before it can be withdrawn. RocketPlay’s FAQ lists the same kinds of checks as the reasons a request can fail: an unverified account, an unwagered last deposit, a wrong amount or an active bonus (RocketPlay FAQ).
2. The pending review
The pending review is the casino’s internal approval step. Few casinos publish how long it lasts: only 5 of the 30 casinos we cover state a pending period. RocketPlay is one of them. Its FAQ describes “two types of approval”, first by the RocketPlay payment team and then by the payment provider, and gives up to 24 hours for the casino’s side (RocketPlay FAQ). Other casinos fold this step into a processing target or say only that a request stays pending until verification is complete.
3. Identity verification (KYC)
Identity verification is the step most likely to stretch a first withdrawal. 28 of the 30 casinos we cover state that verification is required before a payout, and 26 set a fixed deadline for completing it. Stay Casino’s terms give 14 days; if the casino cannot reach the player by phone or email within that time, “your account will be locked and your withdrawal will be canceled” (Stay Casino Terms, clause 8.4).
The review itself can also take time. Woo Casino’s KYC policy says “Consideration timelines for KYC documents could be up to 30 working days from the moment when the client provided all requested documents” (Woo Casino KYC policy). Our guide to how casino KYC works covers the documents casinos ask for and how to submit them before a withdrawal is needed.
4. Casino processing
Casino processing is the period between approval and the money being sent. This is the figure most casinos advertise, and it is usually worded as an aim rather than a commitment. Woo Casino’s payments page says “within up to 12 hours” while its terms say “72 hours of approval” (Woo Casino Terms, clause 11.6), and Fair Go Casino states up to 2 business days. SkyCrown’s target of up to 72 hours runs “of approval”, so any time spent pending or in verification comes on top (SkyCrown Terms, clause 11.6).
5. Payment-method transfer
The last stage belongs to the payment method, not the casino. Bank transfers are the slowest in the published terms: RocketPlay lists 3–7 business days on the provider’s side, and Woo Casino’s table and terms give two different figures, 1–5 business days / up to 3 business days (sources differ). Ozwin Casino gives up to 2 business days for its own bank-wire processing and adds that the bank “might take up to 10 business days to receive the winnings after they have been processed on our side” (Ozwin Casino banking page).
Instant bank payments work differently. Australian Payments Plus, whose payment brands include PayID and Osko, says Osko “sends bank transfers between participating banks and financial institutions in under a minute, 24/7”, and also that “some Osko payments may be held for security purposes” (Australian Payments Plus: Osko). A PayID is a mobile number, email address or similar identifier linked to a bank account (Australian Payments Plus: PayID). That speed applies only after the casino has approved and sent the payment. Among the casinos we cover, PayID withdrawals are confirmed at 0 of 30: none lists PayID on its logged-out payment pages, even when they are checked from an Australian connection. Our PayID casinos page tracks which casinos publish PayID terms.
Worked example: a withdrawal timeline
The example below adds the stages together for a first withdrawal. It uses invented terms for a hypothetical casino, not any casino we cover, to show how a short headline target turns into a longer wait.
The weekend matters in this example because processing targets and bank transfers count business days. Fair Go Casino’s banking page makes the same point in its own words: “processing times may sometimes be longer, depending on the payment method, additional account verification checks, or public holidays” (Fair Go Casino banking page).
Withdrawal limits
Withdrawal limits cap how much can leave an account per transaction, day, week or month. They rarely matter for small balances, but after a large win they decide how many weeks the payout takes. Caps are published in different currencies, so the figures below are compared only within the same currency.
Caps per day, week and month
Among the casinos we cover that publish a weekly cap in Australian dollars, the caps run from A$3,100 to A$30,000. Monthly caps in Australian dollars run from A$10,500 to A$75,000. The table shows each casino’s published minimum and caps. Crownslots, SkyCrown, Richard Casino, Ricky Casino, Stay Casino and Woo Casino use one terms template, in which the caps sit in clause 11.8, “Withdrawal Frequency Limits” (Crownslots Terms, clause 11.8).

Three patterns in the wording change how a cap should be read:
- Two caps side by side. In that template, clause 11.7 caps only winnings from no-deposit bonuses, listed as “75 CAD, 75 AUD, 75 NZD”, and clause 11.8 then sets the daily, weekly and monthly limits for every withdrawal, with progressive jackpot wins paid in full outside them (SkyCrown Terms, clauses 11.7 and 11.8; Ricky Casino Terms, clauses 11.7 and 11.8; Woo Casino Terms, clauses 11.7 and 11.8). The periods are not counted the same way: SkyCrown’s week “Resets each 7 days from your first cashout in a calendar month and on the 1st of each month”, while Woo Casino counts back from the day of each request.
- Discretion to change the cap. Ozwin Casino caps withdrawals at A$7,500 per week and “reserves the right to determine higher or lower weekly withdrawal limits” (Ozwin Casino Terms, promotional clause 28).
- Per-transaction maximums. Woo Casino’s terms also say withdrawal limits “depend on the selected payment method” and that a larger request “may be split into multiple installments” (Woo Casino Terms, clause 11.1). Its Australian-locale withdrawal table gives the bank-transfer row as “Min. 250 AUD / Max. 4,000 AUD” (Woo Casino payments page, en-AU). A per-transaction maximum limits each request; the clause 11.8 caps limit the total over a day, week or month.
- Caps tied to a loyalty level. Neon54’s archived terms and the terms of StoneVegas and VikingLuck process withdrawals against limits set by VIP level, starting at A$800 a day at the lowest level, and work out the level from recent deposits, withdrawals and bonuses (Neon54 Terms, 6.11–6.12, archived December 2025; StoneVegas Terms, 6.11–6.12; VikingLuck Terms, 6.11–6.12). Spinathlon’s VIP terms give a “Maximum withdrawal limit” for each level without saying over what period it runs (Spinathlon VIP terms, Appendix A). Spinline publishes a table whose caps rise with loyalty level (Spinline Terms, 9.2), while Gambloria’s and Lucky Capone’s terms say only that a higher Loyalty Rank brings a higher limit, without publishing the figures (Gambloria Terms, 7.12; Lucky Capone Terms, 7.12).
Instalment clauses
An instalment clause lets the casino pay a large balance in parts over weeks or months. It sits alongside the caps and often matters more after a big win, because it can stretch the payout further than the cap alone.
Fair Go Casino: weekly cap and payment over several weeks
What the terms state: A$7,500 Verified — operator's own pages
“The maximum withdrawal per customer per week is up to $7,500 AUD. Fair Go Casino reserves the right to pay out higher winnings over a period of several weeks.”
Source: General Terms of Fair Go Casino (incl. Promotional, Tournament, Lobby Jackpot and Refer-and-Earn terms) (Fair Go Casino), checked 15 October 2026.
The cap and the instalment right appear in the same clause. A balance above the weekly cap can only leave the account in weekly parts, and the clause gives the casino discretion to spread “higher winnings” over “several weeks” without saying how many. The banking page adds a monthly cap of A$30,000, which can stretch the schedule further.
RocketPlay’s terms go further. Clause 8.10 says that for a winning balance “more than … 20 000 AUD”, “the Casino reserves the right to divide the payout into monthly installments of a maximum of … 20 000 AUD … until the full amount has been successfully paid out” (RocketPlay Terms, clause 8.10). That instalment ceiling is lower than RocketPlay’s own monthly cap of A$35,000, and the terms do not say which rule prevails. Gambloria’s and Lucky Capone’s terms carry the same kind of monthly-instalment clause for large wins, with different thresholds (Gambloria Terms, 7.13; Lucky Capone Terms, 7.13), and Spinathlon’s terms let it pay winnings above the monthly limit “in monthly instalments, each not exceeding that limit” (Spinathlon terms, withdrawals). Crowngreen’s terms set a daily processing limit and let the casino pay a larger request “in several installments and/or over multiple days” (Crowngreen terms, clause 9.6). SkyCrown’s terms add another trigger: “If your requested amount exceeds a method’s limit, payouts may be split into multiple installments” (SkyCrown Terms, clause 11.1).
Deposit wagering before withdrawal
Many casinos will not pay out a deposit that has not been played. This deposit wagering rule is separate from bonus wagering and applies to every deposit, with or without a bonus. Among the casinos we cover, 11 casinos require each deposit to be wagered once and 18 require three times. The casinos give anti-money-laundering rules as the reason, and the effect is that a deposit cannot simply be taken back unplayed.
The penalty for withdrawing early differs more than the multiple does:
Ozwin Casino: a fee for withdrawing an unwagered deposit
What the terms state: 15% administrative fee deducted from the withdrawal Verified — operator's own pages
“4.3 Minimum Playthrough: To comply with anti‐money laundering regulations, you must wager each deposit at least once (1×) before requesting a withdrawal. If you fail to meet this requirement, an administrative fee of 15% will be deducted.”
Source: Ozwin Casino Terms and Conditions (incl. Promotional, Slot Tournament, Lobby Jackpot and Refer-a-Friend terms) (Ozwin Casino), checked 15 October 2026.
Ozwin Casino does not refuse the request; it takes a percentage of it. Clause 14.3 words the same rule as a right the casino “reserves”, described as “typically 15%”, so the deduction is not certain but should be expected. A player who deposits and changes their mind before playing pays for that decision.
Fair Go Casino applies the same 1x rule as a refusal rather than a fee: “you are not permitted to request any payout from your account unless you have wagered your deposit at least once” (Fair Go Casino Terms, clause 34). At Stay Casino the multiple depends on the game: the recorded 1x applies to slot games, while deposits played on other games must be wagered “3 times … in other types of games (table games, roulette, video poker, etc.)” (Stay Casino Terms, clause 9.7). Neon54, StoneVegas and VikingLuck pair a single rollover with a heavy penalty: if less than the deposit has been wagered, their terms let the casino cancel all winnings and keep a commission on the withdrawal (Neon54 Terms, clause 6.8, archived December 2025; StoneVegas Terms, clause 6.8; VikingLuck Terms, clause 6.8). Bonus wagering is a separate requirement, covered in our wagering requirements guide.
Cancelling a pending withdrawal
Some casinos let a player reverse a request while it is still pending; most terms do not say either way. Only 8 casinos’ pages confirm a player-side reversal, and for 22 the pages we could read are silent.
Ozwin Casino: reversal from the cashier
What the casino's pages state: Yes, you can reverse your payout request from the Cashier section of your account as long as its status is "pending withdrawal." If you're logged in via a mobile device, tap burger menu on the top right corner, choose "Withdrawal". Verified — operator's own pages
“Yes, you can reverse your payout request from the Cashier section of your account as long as its status is “pending withdrawal.””
Source: Frequently asked questions (Ozwin Casino), checked 15 October 2026.
The right lasts only while the status reads “pending withdrawal”. Once the casino approves the request, it can no longer be reversed. A reversal returns the money to the playable balance, so a long pending period gives a player more time to gamble money they had decided to take out. A player who wants the payout to go through can leave the request alone.
Fair Go Casino’s FAQ uses the same wording. Both casinos’ promotional terms add that “Players with one or more pending withdrawals currently in their account are not eligible to claim any bonuses” until the withdrawals are processed or cancelled (Ozwin Casino promotional terms, clause 7). The help centres of StoneVegas and VikingLuck also say a pending withdrawal can be cancelled from the cashier (StoneVegas help centre; VikingLuck help centre). At other casinos, the cancellation right in the terms is the casino’s, not the player’s: Stay Casino and SkyCrown cancel the withdrawal and lock the account when they cannot reach the player in time for verification.
Pitfalls that slow or shrink a payout
The terms that delay a payout are rarely the ones in the headline. These are the conditions most worth checking before a first deposit:
- The clock starts at approval. A target counted “of approval” excludes the pending review and verification. Richard Casino’s up to 72 hours target is worded this way.
- Business days, not calendar days. Weekends and public holidays add days to every stage counted in business days.
- Missed verification deadlines. At RocketPlay, an account is locked if the casino cannot reach the player within 14 days of the request; the remaining balance is paid only after verification is completed.
- The casino can choose the method. SkyCrown and Richard Casino limit card payouts to the net amount deposited and may pay “via a different method than the one you specified” (SkyCrown Terms, clauses 11.5 and 11.9).
- Bank fees. Several casinos charge no fee of their own but pass on intermediary-bank charges for bank transfers. SkyCrown’s terms are typical: No casino fee stated; intermediary banks may charge additional fees, typically up to €16, which the player bears.
- Deadlines on bonus winnings. Ozwin Casino requires at least one withdrawal within 150 days of redeeming a bonus coupon, or bonus-derived winnings are forfeited.
- Dormant balances. A balance left untouched can be charged monthly fees or voided. Fair Go Casino voids the balance after 12 months of inactivity.

Read each row across both tables. A short processing target means less than it seems if a pending period, a verification deadline or deposit wagering sits in front of it.
Most casinos in these tables carry a regulator caveat. ACMA’s records show a formal warning to a company named as provider for every casino we review apart from Crowngreen, DragonSlots, Fair Go Casino, Gambloria, Goldex, Jet4Bet, Lucky Capone, Ozwin Casino, Slota Casino, Spinathlon, Spinline, StoneVegas, VikingLuck and WinSpirit (the sites of Spinline and its sister brand Slota Casino name companies ACMA has warned over other services), with Fair Go Casino and Ozwin Casino on its 2021 list of services found in contravention (ACMA investigations page). Each review quotes the warnings, and the online casinos comparison lists them together. Crowngreen, CrownPlay, Gambloria, Lucky Capone, Neon54, Spinathlon, StoneVegas, VikingLuck and WinSpirit do not take Australian players, and none of them has a link on this site. WinSpirit’s own terms list Australia among its excluded territories “if physically present in Australia at the time of play” (WinSpirit Terms), Gambloria’s terms name Australia among restricted countries (Gambloria Terms, clause 4.5), Crowngreen’s Terms of Services list it among the “Prohibited Jurisdictions”, although its site still served Australian connections (Crowngreen Terms of Services, clause 5.2), and the sites of CrownPlay, Gambloria, Lucky Capone, Neon54, Spinathlon, StoneVegas and VikingLuck turn Australian connections away (CrownPlay, as shown in Australia; Gambloria, as shown in Australia; Lucky Capone, as shown in Australia; Neon54, as shown in Australia; StoneVegas, as shown in Australia; Spinathlon, as shown in Australia; VikingLuck, as shown in Australia). Neon54’s rows come from terms archived in December 2025, because its site could not be read live when the ten casinos added on 9 October 2026 were checked. ACMA’s blocking list is a separate record: when we checked ACMA’s list of gambling websites it has asked Australian internet providers to block, it included the official domains of 16 of the 30 casinos in these tables, Bizzo Casino among them (ACMA blocked-websites list).
FAQ
How long do casino withdrawals take?
It depends on the stage, and most casinos publish only one. The casinos we cover state processing targets from hours to several business days, usually counted from approval, and bank transfers add business days on top. A first withdrawal also waits for identity verification, which can take longer than the processing itself.
Why is my casino withdrawal still pending?
A withdrawal stays pending until the casino approves it. The usual reasons are an incomplete identity check, a deposit that has not been wagered as the terms require, unfinished bonus wagering or an amount outside the minimum or cap. Several casinos’ terms say a request stays pending until all verification steps are complete.
Can I cancel a pending casino withdrawal?
Only where the casino allows it, and only while the status is pending. Among the casinos we cover, the pages of only these casinos confirm player reversals: Crowngreen, Fair Go Casino, Gambloria, HellSpin, Lucky Capone, Ozwin Casino, StoneVegas and VikingLuck. The others’ pages do not say. Reversing returns the money to the playable balance, not to your bank account.
What is the maximum I can withdraw from an online casino?
Most casinos cap withdrawals per week and per month rather than per win. Among the casinos we cover that publish a weekly cap in Australian dollars, the highest is A$30,000. Some caps are worded as limits on bonus winnings, so the clause itself is worth reading. Where the terms allow it, larger balances can be paid in instalments.
Do I have to verify my identity before withdrawing?
Usually yes. 28 of the 30 casinos we cover require verification before a payout, and some cancel the withdrawal or close the account if it is not completed by a deadline. Verifying soon after registering avoids most first-withdrawal delays.
How long does PayID take to receive money?
Once a payment is sent, Osko transfers between participating banks typically arrive in under a minute, according to Australian Payments Plus, though some payments may be held for security checks. The casino’s pending review, verification and processing still come first.

Ten newly reviewed casinos added (Crowngreen, Crownslots, Gambloria, Lucky Capone, Neon54, Slota Casino, Spinathlon, Spinline, StoneVegas, VikingLuck)
The caps, timing and verification tables now span 30 casinos. New wording covers withdrawal caps tied to a loyalty or VIP level (Neon54, StoneVegas, VikingLuck, Spinline, Spinathlon, Gambloria, Lucky Capone), instalment clauses at Gambloria, Lucky Capone, Spinathlon and Crowngreen, the deposit-rollover penalty at Neon54, StoneVegas and VikingLuck, player-side cancellation at StoneVegas and VikingLuck and Crownslots' use of the clause 11.8 template; the caveat paragraph lists all nine casinos that turn Australians away and the longer list of casinos without an ACMA warning.
-
Five newly reviewed casinos added (Jet4Bet, Lucky Ones, Goldex, DragonSlots, SpinRise)
Jet4Bet, Lucky Ones, Goldex, DragonSlots and SpinRise were reviewed and published, so the withdrawal-limit, processing-time and deposit-wagering examples on this page now draw on their terms too.
-
Casino links and offer cards added
Offer cards with links now appear across the site (see the affiliate disclosure). This page had said most casinos appeared for comparison only and none was presented as an option; it now states their regulator records and that WinSpirit and CrownPlay have no link.
-
Withdrawal guide caveat extended to newly found warnings
This guide said ACMA had warned the providers of Bizzo Casino, Stay Casino, Golden Crown Casino, HellSpin and RollXO. The withdrawal tables also include Neospin, Richard Casino, Ricky Casino, RocketPlay, SkyCrown, Woo Casino and CrownPlay, whose providers ACMA has warned too, and Bizzo Casino and HellSpin each have a second warning from 2025; the caveat now cites them.
-
Five newly reviewed casinos added to the comparison
HellSpin, RollXO, Neospin, CrownPlay and Golden Crown were reviewed and published, so tables, counts and the casinos shown only with caveats now cover fifteen casinos instead of ten.
-
Stay Casino now shown for comparison only
ACMA's formal warning of 22 February 2022 names Hollycorn N.V. as the provider of the Stay Casino service. This page had named only Bizzo Casino and WinSpirit as casinos shown for comparison only.
-
Explanation of clauses 11.7 and 11.8 corrected
The guide had said several casinos framed their caps as no-deposit limits. Clause 11.7 of their terms caps only no-deposit winnings, and clause 11.8 sets the general daily, weekly and monthly limits, which the cap table now shows.

Fair Go Casino minimum withdrawal added
Fair Go Casino's banking page, checked from an Australian connection on 7 October 2026, gives the same minimum for every withdrawal method; the limits table now shows it. The PayID explanation now reflects that check.
