What stands out

Richard Casino names the company behind it. Clause 1.1 of the terms identifies Metlait SRL, a Costa Rica company, as owner and operator, and the Tobique Gaming Commission register lists Metlait S.R.L with a B2C licence expiring on 16 April 2027. A named company that can be matched to a regulator’s list gives players an identifiable party to hold to the terms.

Richard Casino’s welcome bonus is wagered on the bonus alone, not on the deposit plus the bonus. The bonus terms also describe every bonus as “non-sticky”: real money is played first, a player may cancel a bonus “without any loss of their own funds”, and a deposit can be withdrawn before wagering is finished, with only the bonus and its winnings voided (Bonus Terms and Conditions).

Richard Casino’s limit tools are set in the account rather than by request. The Responsible Gaming page lists daily, weekly or monthly deposit, loss and wager limits, a cooling-off period and self-exclusion that can be indefinite. A decrease takes effect immediately, while an increase needs email confirmation and waits until the previous limit expires.

Complaints have a named route outside the casino. Clause 15.5 of the terms points players to EGIS, an alternative dispute resolution body that the terms say “operates under the regulations of the Tobique Gaming Commission” (Terms and Conditions).

Important limitations

Richard Casino’s regulator record comes before any of its terms. ACMA’s warnings of 12 June 2024 found that Hollycorn N.V. and Libergos Limited, each named as a provider of the Richard Casino service, had contravened the Interactive Gambling Act by providing it to customers in Australia; the operator section below sets out the investigation. We could not establish whether either company is related to Metlait SRL, the operator named in today’s terms.

Verification is strict and time-limited. Richard Casino gives players 14 days to pass verification after a request, and the stated consequence of missing it is “account termination and funds confiscation”. Phone verification can be required on top of documents.

Richard Casino’s pages contradict each other on withdrawals. The terms set a minimum withdrawal and monthly cap that differ from the homepage summary, and the bank-transfer time differs between the terms and the homepage FAQ. We treat the terms as the governing document, but a player cannot tell from the site which figure the cashier applies.

The welcome bonus has several tight rules. Winnings from a cash bonus are capped at a multiple of the bonus, the wagering window is short, the maximum bet is A$8, and a long list of popular pokies counts only half toward wagering.

Payment details for Australia are incomplete. PayID does not appear on any Richard Casino page we could read, and the homepage lists several country-specific payment groups whose country headings were lost in the text we retrieved. On 7 October 2026 we also checked the logged-out payment and promotion pages from an Australian connection: the Australian-locale paths answered “Not Found 404”, and the English payments page shown instead lists methods in euros, including Canada’s Interac, so its list is not filtered for Australia; PayID is not on it (Richard Casino payments page, as shown in Australia). The logged-in cashier was not checked.

Richard Casino is operated by Metlait SRL, a company registered in Costa Rica, and the terms state that “The Company operates under license no. 0000064 issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission” (Terms and Conditions, clause 1.1). The same company, registration number and licence number appear in the footer of every official page we fetched.

What the Tobique register shows

The Tobique Gaming Commission’s License Holders page lists Metlait S.R.L twice: once with a B2C licence and once with a B2B licence. We record the licence status as active with an expiry of 16 April 2027, taken from the B2C entry.

The register confirms the company, not the details. It publishes no licence numbers and no domains, so the licence number and the claim that the licence covers richardcasino.com rest on the operator’s own terms. The Commission’s domain validator returned “INVALID” for a bare query on richardcasino.com, but it returned the same result for another domain that carries a Tobique seal, so without the seal link from the casino’s footer that result is not evidence either way (TGC domain validator). What the Anjouan register shows

Anjouan’s Licence Register lists richardcasino.com among the domains of Metlait SRL’s licence ALSI-202509073-FI2, which we record as active, expiring on 29 September 2027. Unlike the Tobique list, it prints the licence number and the websites. Richard Casino’s terms page holds an Anjouan version of clause 1.1 and of the footer naming that licence, but its page code shows that version to visitors from some other countries, not to Australian visitors, who see the Tobique wording. The same page code holds a further version, naming Hollycorn N.V. and a Curaçao licence, assigned to a user group called “libergos” rather than to a country (Richard Casino terms, page data).

ACMA’s 2024 formal warnings

ACMA began investigating the Richard Casino service on 23 April 2024 under section 21 of the Interactive Gambling Act. On 12 June 2024 it issued separate warnings to Hollycorn N.V., at a Curaçao address, and to Libergos Limited, at a Nicosia address, each naming its recipient “a provider of the Richard Casino service” (ACMA formal warning to Hollycorn N.V.; ACMA formal warning to Libergos Limited). Both concern casino-style games, which ACMA found to be prohibited interactive gambling services under subsection 15(2A). During the investigation the service was available at a numbered Richard Casino domain rather than the official one.

Neither warning mentions Metlait SRL. The first is addressed to Hollycorn N.V., which is also the company named in the terms variant that Richard Casino’s page code assigns to the user group “libergos”, described above; Libergos is the name of the second company ACMA warned (Richard Casino terms, page data). We could not establish what that user group is used for, or whether Hollycorn N.V., Libergos Limited and Metlait SRL are related.

Mirror and lookalike domains

The official domain is richardcasino.com, and the operator also runs numbered mirror domains that carry the same footer naming Richardcasino.com and Metlait SRL; from an Australian connection, the official domain redirected to one of them, which was not on ACMA’s blocked-websites list when we checked. We do not name mirror domains. Separately, several third-party sites that use the Richard name credit the brand to other companies and licences. None of them was used as evidence in this review; the Anjouan and Curaçao details above come from the regulator’s register and from Richard Casino’s own page code, and the Hollycorn N.V. and Libergos Limited details from ACMA’s warnings.

Account verification (KYC)

Richard Casino requires identity verification before it pays a withdrawal, and it attaches a deadline to that check. Clause 8.4 states that “Withdrawal requests will remain pending until all required verification steps are completed” (Terms and Conditions).

Our analysis:

Two separate clauses run on the same deadline. Clause 9.3 counts from the casino’s document request and ends in account termination and confiscation, while clause 8.4 counts from the withdrawal request and cancels the withdrawal and locks the account if the casino is “unable to reach you by phone or email” in that time. A player who is travelling, changes phone number or misses an email can therefore lose a pending payout, not just delay it. Documents must be in Latin or Cyrillic script, otherwise a video of the player holding their ID may be required, and clause 2.7 blocks all Bitcoin play until ID has been checked. Deposits and withdrawals

Richard Casino lists Visa and Mastercard for deposits and withdrawals, bank transfer and MiFinity for withdrawals, and Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and USDT for deposits. The terms set a minimum deposit of “€20 (or equivalent)” and name EUR as the casino’s internal operating currency, so AUD transactions may involve conversion (Terms and Conditions, clauses 10.4 and 11.10).

PayID is not listed on the homepage, in the terms or on the payments page shown to an Australian connection, so it is not confirmed for Richard Casino; see PayID casinos for sites that list it. Clause 10.2 tells players to ask support which methods work in their jurisdiction. Card withdrawals must go to a personal card “issued in a supported country”, and the terms do not say whether Australia is one.

Withdrawal limits and processing

The table sets the withdrawal rules in Richard Casino’s terms beside its homepage summary; a row with two values marks a point where the pages disagree.

The Richard Casino homepage caps withdrawals at A$10,000 per week, a figure checked on 15 October 2026, and the bonus terms and clause 11.8 of the general terms state the same number in euros. Clause 11.8 adds a daily limit of €5,000, counted per casino day in UTC. The monthly cap is where the pages split: €20,000 / A$30,000 (sources differ). The minimum withdrawal differs in the same way: A$30 / A$20 (sources differ), with the higher figure in the terms.

The terms aim to process withdrawals in up to 72 hours from approval rather than from the request, and the wording makes it a target, not a commitment. The homepage FAQ gives up to 1 hour for e-wallets and 24–72 hours for cards. For bank transfers the terms and FAQ differ: up to 3 business days / 3–5 business days (sources differ). No separate pending period and no right to reverse a withdrawal appear in the terms, so both are recorded as not confirmed. The terms also let Richard Casino choose how a player is paid: clause 11.5 allows payment “via a different method than the one you specified”, and clause 11.9 limits card payouts to the net amount deposited, with any excess sent by another method (Terms and Conditions).

Our analysis:

The bonus terms and clause 11.8 of the general terms, “Withdrawal Frequency Limits”, give the monthly cap in euros, while the homepage advertises a higher AUD figure for the same period. Because the terms name EUR as the operating currency, we read the lower euro figure as the one the cashier enforces until Richard Casino corrects one of the pages. Clause 11.8 states that “Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full and do not count toward these limits”, and clause 11.1 allows payouts above a method’s limit to be “split into multiple installments”. Clause 11.7, just before it, is a separate cap on winnings from no-deposit bonuses, listed as “75 CAD, 75 AUD, 75 NZD” (Terms clauses 11.7 and 11.8).

Welcome bonus and wagering

The Richard Casino welcome package is spread across 5 deposits and is advertised as worth up to A$5,000 with 500 free spins in total. The first deposit is matched at 100% up to A$1,000, and each later bonus has the same cap at a lower or equal match rate. These figures come from the Australian-locale bonus terms; an Australian connection on 7 October 2026 was shown the English promotions page instead, which states the welcome pack in euros and asks for a first deposit of €20 or more (Richard Casino promotions page, as shown in Australia).

The example covers the first bonus only. The same wagering applies separately to each bonus in the package and to free-spin winnings, and the Welcome Package section sets a shorter clock than the general bonus rules: “The duration of activation for free spins and the deposit bonus is one day. The duration of the playthrough period for free spins is three days, and seven days for the cash bonus” (Bonus Terms and Conditions). The pokies contribution in the table is the default. The bonus terms add a list of named slots that count at “50%”, including Book of Dead, Gates of Olympus, Big Bass Bonanza, Starburst and Elvis Frog in Vegas, which is also the free-spins game for the second welcome bonus. Table games, roulette, video poker and craps count “5%” (Bonus Terms and Conditions). Games and providers

The Richard Casino homepage claims “5000+ games and 50+ providers” and names BGaming, Pragmatic Play, Evolution, NetEnt and Push Gaming as featured studios, followed by others such as Hacksaw, Nolimit City, Play’n GO, Red Tiger and Relax Gaming (Richard Casino homepage). We did not count the lobby ourselves.

Not every listed provider is open to Australians. Clause 3 of the terms says NetEnt games are blacklisted in territories “including Australia” and lists Amatic as “Restricted in Australia” (Terms and Conditions, clause 3). Clause 3.2 adds that using a VPN to get around such restrictions “may lead to confiscation of winnings”.

Mobile

We could not confirm a Richard Casino app for iOS or Android. The homepage invites players to “Download the Richard Casino app” and says existing accounts work in it, but the text we retrieved does not name a platform or link to an app store (Richard Casino homepage). An Android download page and a Google Play listing under the Richard Casino name appear in search results, but neither was fetched or linked to Metlait SRL. Responsible-gambling tools

Richard Casino documents deposit, loss and wager limits, a cooling-off period and self-exclusion, all described as account settings. Cooling-off can be set for “1 week, 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months”, and self-exclusion for “6 months, 9 months, 1 year” or indefinitely, in the page’s own wording (Responsible Gaming page).

The tools have a gap for crypto users. The page warns that deposit limits “cannot always be applied to cryptocurrency transactions” and that some crypto deposits may still go through during a cooling-off period, and clause 10.5 of the terms tells players who want enforceable limits to use a non-crypto method. No session limit or reality-check reminder is documented, and the organisations under the page’s “External help” heading did not appear in the text we retrieved. Terms that deserve attention

These clauses have the largest effect on whether a Richard Casino balance reaches the player.

Bonus winnings capped at a multiple of the bonus

Our analysis:

The cap is 10x the bonus actually received, so it scales with the bonus: a small bonus has a small ceiling. Winnings above the cap are removed when the withdrawal is processed, not when they are won, so the balance on screen can overstate what will be paid. Free-spin winnings have their own ceiling: “The maximum winnings that will be paid out resulting from any free spins bonus will be 100 EUR, 100 USD, 150 AUD” (Bonus Terms and Conditions).

Every deposit must be played before it can be withdrawn

Our analysis:

This applies with or without a bonus. A deposit made and left unplayed cannot simply be withdrawn, and several unplayed deposits must be wagered in total. Table games carry a higher multiple than pokies under the same clause, and the casino can demand the higher multiple on any suspicion of money laundering. The only exception in the bonus terms is the deposit made to unlock no-deposit winnings.

Dormancy fee on inactive accounts

What the terms state: A monthly dormancy fee of €20 (or equivalent) is deducted from the balance until it reaches zero or the player logs in and places a wager. Verified — operator's own pages

Our analysis:

The fee starts after 12 months without a login or a game and runs every month until the balance is gone or the player logs in and places a wager. A forgotten balance is therefore eroded rather than frozen.

Disputes, server logs and arbitration

Our analysis:

A named ADR body is a strength, but the rest of the complaints framework favours the casino. The terms make the casino’s “server logs and records” “final and binding” for disputes about game results, send all disputes to “arbitration in Costa Rica”, and bar any claim not filed “within one (1) year” (Terms and Conditions, clauses 13, 15 and 17). We did not check EGIS’s own procedures.

Several other clauses in the Terms and Conditions deserve a close read:

• Households count as duplicates. Clause 8.1 treats accounts “sharing the same residential address, household, IP address, or device” as duplicates, and lets the casino cancel pending withdrawals and confiscate winnings. Two people in one home with separate accounts are exposed to this.
• Broad bonus-abuse definitions. Clause 9.4 includes “Reducing stakes after a large win and switching to low-variance games” and “Maintaining a deposits-to-bonus ratio exceeding 50%”, and clause 7.8 gives the casino “sole and final authority” to decide a breach.
• Short refund window. Clause 14.1 requires refund requests for a legitimate transaction “within 24 hours of the transaction”.

Strengths and limitations

How it compares

Richard Casino’s confirmed sister brands on this site are Golden Crown, Neospin, SkyCrown and Stay Casino, whose records name the same operator, Metlait SRL, and the same Tobique licence, and whose domains Anjouan’s register lists under the same second licence. ACMA has formally warned a company it named as provider of each of these five brands: Stay Casino and Golden Crown Casino (Hollycorn N.V. and Libergos Limited, 22 February 2022), SkyCrown (Hollycorn N.V., 18 August 2022), Neospin (Hollycorn N.V. and Libergos Limited, 26 October 2022; Hollycorn N.V. again, 16 April 2025) and Richard Casino (Hollycorn N.V. and Libergos Limited, 12 June 2024). The 2022 warning about Stay Casino and Golden Crown did not name Richard Casino, which ACMA addressed separately in 2024. None of those warnings names Metlait SRL. ACMA’s warning of 25 May 2026 about SpinRise, another brand whose terms name Metlait SRL, is addressed to Metlait SRL itself (ACMA formal warning to Metlait SRL). Shared operator details do not mean identical terms either. SkyCrown’s terms set a monthly withdrawal limit of A$45,000 and a welcome-bonus window of 14 days, while Stay Casino’s terms set a monthly cap of €20,000; compare them with Richard Casino’s own figures above. Is Richard Casino legit and licensed?

Richard Casino has a formal-warning record with ACMA. Its warnings of 12 June 2024 found that Hollycorn N.V. and Libergos Limited, each named as a provider of the Richard Casino service, had contravened the Interactive Gambling Act (ACMA formal warning). This review gives no legal conclusion.

On licensing, Richard Casino’s terms say it operates under Tobique Gaming Commission licence no. 0000064, held by Metlait SRL (Terms and Conditions). The Tobique register lists Metlait S.R.L with a B2C licence expiring 16 April 2027, but it shows no licence numbers or domains, so Tobique does not itself confirm that the licence covers richardcasino.com. Anjouan’s register does list richardcasino.com, under a second Metlait licence, ALSI-202509073-FI2, that the terms shown to Australian visitors do not name.

Who owns Richard Casino, and what are its sister sites?

Metlait SRL, a company registered in Costa Rica, owns and operates Richard Casino according to clause 1.1 of its terms. ACMA’s 2024 warnings name two other companies, Hollycorn N.V. and Libergos Limited, as providers of the Richard Casino service; we could not establish whether they are related to Metlait SRL. The terms name Metlait SRL and the same Tobique licence for Golden Crown, Neospin, SkyCrown and Stay Casino. Some third-party sites name other owners; this review relies only on the operator’s own pages and regulator documents.

What bonuses does Richard Casino provide?

The main offer is a welcome package across 5 deposits worth up to A$5,000 plus free spins, with 40x wagering on each bonus. The bonus terms also describe a weekend reload, Tuesday free spins, weekly cashback, a birthday bonus and VIP offers, most of them tied to promo codes that this review does not list.

Can I play for free at Richard Casino?

We could not confirm a free-play option. The pages we fetched do not mention demo play, and no-deposit bonuses appear only as general rules and as codes the homepage says are sent by email. The bonus terms add that “To withdraw no deposit bonus winnings, you need to make a minimal deposit” (Bonus Terms and Conditions).

How long do Richard Casino withdrawals take?

Richard Casino publishes targets, not observed times. The terms aim for up to 72 hours from approval, and approval waits until verification is complete. The per-method times from the homepage FAQ, including the bank-transfer figures on which the terms and FAQ differ, are set out in the deposits and withdrawals section above.

Does Richard Casino have an app?

It is not confirmed. The homepage promotes a Richard Casino app but names no platform, and the Android download and Google Play listing seen in search results could not be linked to the operator. No iOS app was found.

   Added ACMA's 2024 formal warnings to providers of Richard Casino

   ACMA's formal warnings of 12 June 2024 to Hollycorn N.V. and to Libergos Limited name each company as a provider of the Richard Casino service and find that it provided prohibited interactive gambling services to customers in Australia. An earlier version of this review did not mention them; its comparison cited only ACMA's 2022 warning about Stay Casino, which does not name Richard Casino. The summary, the operator section, the limitations, the comparison and the FAQ now reflect them, and the review no longer links to the casino.

   Corrected daily withdrawal limit

   Clause 11.8 of Richard Casino's terms sets general daily, weekly and monthly withdrawal limits in euros. An earlier version of this review treated them as caps on no-deposit winnings and showed no daily limit, because our saved copy of the terms had lost the 11.8 heading; clause 11.7 caps no-deposit winnings separately.

   What an Australian visitor is shown

   Checked from an Australian connection on 7 October 2026, Richard Casino's Australian-locale pages answered "Not Found 404", so an Australian visitor gets the English payments and promotions pages in euros. The review now says so; the welcome bonus figures still come from the Australian-locale bonus terms. PayID was not listed.

   Anjouan's licence register lists richardcasino.com

   Anjouan's Licence Register lists richardcasino.com under a second licence held by Metlait SRL, ALSI-202509073-FI2. This review had said no register shows which domains Metlait's licence covers, and had treated Anjouan licences as a third-party attribution. It now records the Anjouan listing and notes that Richard Casino's page code holds an Anjouan version of its terms and footer that is shown to visitors from some other countries, not to Australian visitors.
