Editorial policy

The standards behind every review, guide and research page.

Accuracy first

Every material fact on the site — a withdrawal limit, a wagering multiple, a licence status — comes from a structured record that names its source and the date it was last verified. Writers do not type these values into articles. Pages read them from the record, so a correction made once updates every page that uses the fact.

We keep three kinds of statement separate and make the difference clear in the text. The wording below is illustrative:

  • What the documents state. “The published terms list a A$7,500 weekly limit.”
  • What the operator claims but we could not verify. “The operator states withdrawals are processed within an hour.”
  • Our analysis. “Our analysis found the limit is lower than most casinos in our sample.”

Sources

We cite regulator registers, government and company records, and operators’ own published terms wherever they exist. Each page lists its sources with the date we checked them. When sources conflict, we show the conflict.

No invented experience

We do not invent deposits, withdrawals, identity checks, support conversations, screenshots or receipts. Worked examples use hypothetical amounts and are labelled as an example, calculation, scenario or simulation.

Writing

We write in Australian English and answer the reader’s question first. We avoid marketing language, fake urgency and countdown timers, and we do not rank casinos or call any casino the best. Amounts are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise, and dates and units are explicit.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools in three ways:

  • to collect the published terms and official pages of the casinos we cover;
  • to transfer what those documents state into our structured record, together with the verbatim wording;
  • to prepare first drafts.

AI tools do not decide what is true. Every material value on a page comes from that record, links to the document it came from and shows the date it was checked. Values that could not be confirmed are marked as such. Every review, comparison, guide and research page names the person responsible for it, and that editor reviews the page before it is published. Policy pages such as this one, and section index pages, carry no byline; they go through the same editor’s review before publication.

Updates

Pages show the date of their last substantial update, and data-backed pages also show when their facts were last checked. We do not change dates for cosmetic edits. Meaningful factual changes are listed in each page’s change log.

Independence

We earn commissions from affiliate links to casinos we review, as set out in our affiliate disclosure. Commissions do not change the facts we publish, how those facts are labelled, the regulator record a review states, or the limitations we report, and casino lists are alphabetical rather than ranked.

Corrections

If you find an error, our corrections policy explains how to report it and how we fix it.
